How do our vaccination clinics work?

After you have confirmed your booking

  • Once the number of vaccinations for the given day has been confirmed by the employer/organiser or nominated point of contact the nurse will order the required number of vaccines for this clinic and arrange delivery, or bring to the site on the day.

  • The employer will ensure that a consent form provided by Cameron Healthcare has been distributed (not on the day to aid smooth process) by email to the employee to print off and fill in which is to be brought with them to their appointment or hard copies can be distributed to complete.

  • On the day of your workplace vaccinations, the employer/organiser or nominated point of contact will be asked to provide your nurse with a list of people who have agreed and consented to have their influenza vaccination and ensure they arrive promptly where possible for their vaccine. Each person will have an allocated time slot to come to the vaccination room where their nurse will go over their consent and then have their vaccination administered.

What happens on the day?

  • Our nurses will arrive 30 minutes before the start time to set up, be shown toilets and fire escapes. They will have all the equipment that they need. â€‹

  • The vaccinations begin promptly at the scheduled time.

  • The qualified nurse will ask a few medical questions to ensure the member of staff is suitable to have a flu jab. The nurse will also answer any questions the employee may have.

  • At the end of the day the nurse will pack up and check with the on site contact before departing.
